Born in Wisconsin in 1954, after high school Kim Andrich moved to Boston in the late seventies with dreams of Rock and Roll stardom in his head. He relocated to California in 1980 to attend the San Francisco Art Institute from 1981 to 1985, studying painting and printmaking.

Kim’s influences are early religious and mythological allegory painting, German Expressionism, Dada, and Surrealism. The palette he has been using over the last few years lives somewhere between Fauvism and Psychedelic.
